United Airlines is expanding its reach from Denver International Airport (DEN) with eight new nonstop flights, including the first-ever direct service from Denver to Rome.

Starting May 1, 2025, travelers from the Mile High City can enjoy daily flights to the “Eternal City” aboard a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. The seasonal service will run through September 24, 2025, offering Coloradans and connecting passengers a convenient way to explore one of Europe’s most iconic destinations.

Connecting Denver to the World

With this addition, United Airlines will operate flights to more than 20 international destinations from Denver, including year-round routes to London and Frankfurt, and seasonal service to Munich. The new Rome route highlights the airline’s commitment to expanding international travel options.

“United’s dedication to providing an exceptional travel experience in Denver is evident with these new routes and nearly $1 billion in investments to enhance convenience and customer satisfaction,” said Jonna McGrath, United’s Denver hub vice president.

More Nonstop Options From Denver

In addition to the Rome route, United is launching several other nonstop flights starting next spring, catering to both domestic and international travelers. These include:

  • Buffalo, NY (daily service)
  • Pensacola, FL (daily service)
  • North Bend, OR (daily service)
  • Peoria, IL (daily service)
  • Redding, CA (daily service)
  • Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada (daily service)
  • Wilmington, NC (Saturday service starting May 24)

These routes will bring United’s total nonstop destinations from Denver to over 160 U.S. cities and 20 international locations, making it the airline with the most extensive offerings from the airport.

Enhancing the Passenger Experience

United’s expansion from Denver comes amid broader efforts to improve the flying experience. The airline plans to roll out free Wi-Fi in 2025 and has already introduced a tap-to-pay feature, allowing passengers to make onboard purchases using their mobile devices.

With its ongoing investments and new destinations, United Airlines continues to enhance travel flexibility for Denver residents and connecting passengers alike. Whether you’re planning a summer getaway to Rome or exploring domestic gems like North Bend or Pensacola, United is making it easier to get there.
